According to the news John Horgan says that if he becomes premier, one of the things he would do is to end BC Lottery Corporation's gaming website PlayNow.com (sounds really bad for the site owner.) He declares that the website has been damaged with some difficulties.
John Horgan also added that he is distressed about the criminal factor in online gambling. He said that the potential of the province of British Columbia involvement in that act is repulsive to most British Columbians. He also added that they need to cut down gaming addictions. He thinks online gaming only gains gaming addictions.
John Horgan made a comparison on the online casino business to the wild west, and surroundings that advances crime and targets addicts.
Even so, the minister responsible for gaming, Rich Coleman, wish to know where Horgan will look for the lost revenue. He stated that they expect that it's going to make about $30 million this year. $30 million that he doesn't know where Mr. John Horgan would acquire to help pay for education and health care and some other things.
If he gets ahead into being a premier, Horgan has sworn to straight off restoring $30 million to charities and non-profits.
